Olympus Trip 35 Viewfinder Front Lens
What does this part do?
The viewfinder has 3 elements that work together to provider a frame for a photograph. This is the front lens element.
Examples of why this part commonly fails or needs replacing?
- The front element can often be damaged by previous users applying abrasive cloths to clean and clear the lens
- Debris has damaged the coating to the element e.g. sand on a windy day at the beach
Difficulty Level 1 – Owner-Safe Parts: simple cosmetic or mechanical replacements most users can fit. Note: to fit, the top metal cover on the camera needs to be removed.
What tools are required?
- A Phillips #00 screwdriver tip is typically 2mm in diameter (preferable magnetic head to avoid losing screws).
- Tweezers or long nose pliers
- UHU General Purpose Glue
- Lens wipe
- Air blower (optional)
Condition: Used in Excellent condition. We always pick the best we have from stock but items are used and so will shows signs of use and wear.
