Olympus Trip 35 Replacement Chrome Shutter Button
What does this part do?
Quite simply, the button you press to take a photograph on a Trip 35. The Chrome Shutter Button was fitted to Olympus Trip 35 cameras from 1967 until June 1978 when it was changed to a Black plastic shutter button.

- Most commonly the original is lost during a previous service
- Owners prefer the chrome shutter button look… even on a post June 1978 Olympus Trip 35 camera
- Chrome shutter button is scratched or dented
Difficulty Level 1 – Owner-Safe Parts: simple cosmetic or mechanical replacements most users can fit. To replace the chrome shutter button , the top metal cover needs to be removed from the camera. Once this is done the shutter button is very easily changed.
What tools are required?
- A Phillips #00 screwdriver tip is typically 2mm in diameter (preferable magnetic head to avoid losing screws.
Condition: Used in Excellent condition. We always pick the best we have from stock but items are used and so may show signs of use and wear.
