Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of receipt / delivery. Items must be returned and received by us within the 30 days.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and unused. Any bundles including 35mm film and accessories etc must be sealed and unused too.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable products
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of postage by courier tracking number.
Please do not send your purchase back until you have requested a refund or exchange and have received the return address from us.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use and additional wear and tear since purchase
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Items that have been opened / used such as accessories and 35mm film.
Note: All returns are subject to a restocking fee of 10% of the total price paid. This goes some way towards our costs to externally and internally check the camera, complete a function test and sanitize / clean the camera as well as restocking in online marketplaces.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval type and the refund amount due.
If approved based on our return terms, a refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 days.
Late or missing refunds (3 Days after refund notification email)
Contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Clearance items
Clearance items cannot be refunded and are not included in the 30 day refund / exchange terms and conditions. However, the standard 90 Day Warranty is valid on clearance cameras should the item malfunction.
We only replace items if they are defective with faults that we have not noticed before sending to you.
Exchange Items
Please note that vintage cameras are previously owned and often 40 to 50 years old, therefore each will have a unique appearance and an exchange camera will look slightly different to the original item purchased.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
To return your product, you should email help@olympustrip.co.uk for our returns address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

International Buyers (Non UK)
- Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Have A Nice Trip is not responsible for delays due to customs holding items. Any import / customs charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
- Please check with your country’s customs department to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. The customs tariff number for vintage cameras is 9007100000 and this will be declared on your customs label attached to your package.
- These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up.
- We do not mark merchandise values below cost or mark items as “gifts” or “other”.
Camera Warranty Terms and Conditions
We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase and set very high standards to ensure that all items are in full working order before we ship them to you.
However, please bear in mind that your camera is a vintage Trip 35 that could be 40 or 50+ years old, so when dealing with vintage items, problems can arise unexpectedly at times. If this happens, we will be happy to work with you to find a quick resolution.

Once a warranty claim is accepted by Have A Nice Trip you will need to return the camera to the address provided within 5 working days.

Warranty Packages
Standard 90 Day
- Unless stated otherwise, we provide a 90-Day Warranty on all cameras as standard.
- If your camera develops a fault not identified when you purchased the camera, you can return it to us for a repair or replacement. If we do not have a similar replacement in stock, we will offer a refund.
Enhanced 6 Months
- If your camera develops a fault not identified when you purchased the camera, you can return it to us for a repair or replacement. If we do not have a similar replacement in stock, we will offer a refund. This warranty package also includes a full camera check, internally and externally before we return to you.
Premium 12 months plus Annual Camera Service
- 12 months peace of mind.
- If your camera develops a fault not identified when you purchased the camera, you can return it to us for a repair or replacement. If we do not have a similar replacement in stock, we will offer a refund based on the condition of the returned camera.
- Included annual full service of your camera. To be completed in weeks 48 to 52 of the warranty period. Buyer is responsible for postage and packing costs to Have A Nice Trip. Items must be sent via courier Tracked and Signed For. Have A Nice Trip will cover return Postage and Packing costs.
Warranty Returns
To be eligible for a warranty return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.
Warranty return items must be sent via tracked and signed courier service. A tracking number will need to be provided to us.
Please be aware that the Olympus Trip 35 has specific methods of operation, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to read the Instruction Manual provided and do further research to ensure they understand how to correctly operate the camera.
Exclusions / Damaged Items
We cannot accept warranty returns for items that have been damaged due to mishandling or improper use since purchase, storage and transportation:
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Impact damage
- Water damage
- Humidity / heat / cold exposure
- Damage caused by sand / soil
- Damage caused by a lack of knowledge of camera operation
- Damage caused by excessive force
Other Warranty Exclusions:
- Light meter inaccuracy unless greater than +/- 2 stops.
- 35mm film jammed in the film chamber.
- Any transfer of ownership of any item(s) purchased from us, for any reason (e.g. re-sale, loan), unless marked as a gift at the time of purchase, will void any remaining warranty coverage.
Note: Any attempt to repair the camera by anyone other than us (be that the owner or any third party, including professional camera repair services not associated with us) will void the warranty. We will not be liable for the cost of any repair carried out by any unauthorised person.

- Buy Back Scheme. Any item that is returned after the warranty period has expired where the owner wishes to sell the camera back to us will be considered. Price will be based on current market, camera condition and the associated costs of servicing and reselling the camera.
